"But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine:... the older women Likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, nor slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things --- that they admonish the young women to Love their husbands, to Love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed." (Titus 2:1, 2-5)
     Seeing as we have this mandate from God, the purpose of the Women Bible study group is expressly for women as believers (old and new) to carry out the deeds of faith listed above. As Paul insisted, we all are to "be careful to maintain good works." (Titus 2:8) As we study various biblical heroines, we can find solutions to dilemmas we face today. Whether married or single, young or old, we need each other on this Christian journey. Women Bible study provides a perfect setting where each woman is encouraged to be what God created her to be. The study also is an outlet where issues relevant to women can be discussed candidly.

• to guide women in the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• to help each woman to become rooted and grounded in the faith
• to become a confident woman of God assured of His Love first and foremost
• to teach women to adorn their hearts with the "incorruptible" beauty of God's word
• to continue in faith, Love, and holiness with self-control
• that the fruit of the Spirit be evident in each Life.

     If we Live in the Spirit, we will also walk in the Spirit. So, Let us not become conceited, provoking one another or envying one another; for we all are a part of the same body and Jesus is our head.
